Cesme Wind Power Project, Turkey
The Çeşme Wind Power Project, located in the Aegean Region of Turkey, has an installed capacity of 18 MWm/16 MWe and aims to produce renewable electricity to meet Turkey's increasing electricity demands sustainably. By displacing electricity generated from fossil fuels, the project significantly contributes to reducing carbon emissions in the national grid. It is estimated to achieve annual emission reductions of 34,757 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, supporting the transition towards a low carbon energy future in Turkey.
