The Çeşme Wind Power Project, located in the Aegean Region of Turkey, has an installed capacity of 18 MWm/16 MWe and aims to produce renewable electricity to meet Turkey's increasing electricity demands sustainably. By displacing electricity generated from fossil fuels, the project significantly contributes to reducing carbon emissions in the national grid. It is estimated to achieve annual emission reductions of 34,757 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, supporting the transition towards a low carbon energy future in Turkey.

Çeşme Wind Power Project, Turkey with an installed capacity of 18 MWm/16 MWe is located in Çeşme District of İzmir Province, in Aegean Region of Turkey. The purpose of the project is to produce renewable electricity and to contribute to Turkey’s growing electricity demand through a sustainable and low carbon technology. The project displaces the same amount of electricity generated by fossil fired power plants; thereby helping reduce the weight of electricity generation by fossil-fired power plants in the national grid. The annual emission reduction estimated by the project is 34,757 tonnes of CO2eq.
