A-Gas V8 in Texas

The A-Gas V8 voluntary emission reduction project by A-Gas US, Inc. aims to promote the recovery of used hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) while preventing the production of new HFCs. By reclaiming HFCs from HVAC systems sourced domestically in the U.S., the project adheres to industry specification standards at A-Gas facilities. The reclaimed HFCs are then resold in the market, contributing to a sustainable circular economy. Importantly, the project complies with all relevant laws and regulations, showcasing a commitment to responsible environmental stewardship.

Project Overview

The A-Gas US, Inc. voluntary emission reduction project, A-Gas V8, was undertaken to encourage the recovery of used HFCs (hydrofluorocarbons) and to avoid production of virgin HFCs through the reclamation of HFCs. The project HFCs were U.S. domestically sourced and were reclaimed from HVAC (heating, ventilaton and air conditioning) systems. The HFC was reclaimed to industry specification standards at A-Gas facilities with the intention to resell into the market. All applicable laws and regulations were followed throughout this project.
